Bodegas Prieto Pariente

Bodegas Prieto Pariente

Where tradition meets terroir.

Bodega Prieto Pariente was founded in 2012 by Martina and Ignacio Prieto Pariente, the third generation of the Pariente family, owner of bodega José Pariente in DO Rueda.

A quality-oriented project, the Prieto Pariente winery is dedicated to producing wines from recovered vineyards situated in world-class terroir across the Castilla y León region. The winery currently owns three parcels in the Valladolid province, planted with Viognier, Tempranillo, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate also comprises two Grenache vineyards in Cebreros, at the heart of world-famous Sierra de Gredos, and a Godello vineyard in DO Bierzo.

The wines of Prieto Pariente are made following a minimalistic, hands-off approach. The grapes are hand-harvested and meticulously selected before being spontaneously fermented, with long macerations and very delicate extractions. The wines are subsequently aged in oak barrels, oak vats and concrete diposits.

As regards the product portfolio of Bodegas Prieto Pariente, we would like to highlight two wines: Los Confines de Prieto Pariente, a red blend made from Tempranillo and Grenache sourced from a 70-year- old vineyard located in Pedrosa del Rey, and the varietal white wine Prieto Pariente Viognier, made from a certified organic parcel situated in La Seca (Valladolid).
