This family winery produces cavas and still wines in several regions of Catalonia.

Founded in 1992 by Pere Ventura, bodega Pere Ventura Cava, based in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, is the mother company of the Pere Ventura Family Wine States group. Over the years, the cavas of bodega Pere Ventura have earned a reputation for its excellence and quality.

The estate vineyards of bodega Pere Ventura are farmed following minimal intervention techniques and environmentally friendly procedures. The use of fertilizers is extremely circumspect, and the vineyard team takes great pains to prevent plant disease using preventive treatments. Likewise, the team works hard to control vine vigour with the aim of reducing plant yields. This, in turn, results in a higher fruit quality.

The grape varieties grown by bodega Pere Ventura are Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, the traditional Cava triad, complemented with some Chardonnay. The winery also produces a rosé Cava from Pinot Noir and Trepat.

The Cavas of bodega Pere Ventura are vinified with an exquisite attention to detail. First the base wines produced from each grape variety are separately fermented under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After that, the wines are blended and bottled to complete secondary fermentation and an ageing period which varies depending on the type of wine.
