Details

The whisky Yamazaki 12 Years Single Malt Japanese is produced by the Yamazaki distillery, the oldest malt whisky distillery in Japan. Established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, the Yamazaki headquarters are located on the outskirts of Kyoto, in an area known for the purity and softness of the water.

After a careful fermentation and distillation process, this Single Malt Whisky from Japan matured for 12 years in American, Spanish and Japanese Mizunara oak barrels.

Honey-coloured with some golden reflections, this 12 Years Old Japanese Whisky has a refined nose that suggests ripe apricots and pears over a spicy background, with hints of ripe bananas and pineapples. The palate of the whisky Yamazaki 12 Years Single Malt Japanese is smooth and richly layered, with forest berries, a buttery note, a hint of oak and a long finish with an aftertaste of ginger and candied citrus peel.
