Produced by Bodegas Baigorri, the wine Baigorri de Garage is crafted from the oldest Tempranillo vineyards of the winery, over 65 years of age, planted on the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria. They are farmed following environmentally friendly procedures and have very low yields.
The grapes were harvested by hand and went through an exacting vinification process. The selected grapes underwent a long pre-fermentation maceration in wooden vats, and then they were gently crushed in a vertical press specially designed for this wine.
After that, this Spanish red wine from La Rioja was fermented in French oak barrels, while remaining in contact with its lees.
Once alcoholic fermentation was completed, the wine Baigorri de Garage 2018 went through malolactic fermentation. Finally, this vegan red wine was aged for 22 months in the barrels.
Decant this red wine from La Rioja at least 30 minutes before drinking.
