This is the 2021 vintage of the wine Chivite Colección 125 Reserva, a distinguished Spanish red wine from IGP 3 Riberas, in the Navarra region.
This wine crafted exclusively from the best Tempranillo grapes sourced from the La Isla and Alto de la Cruz parcels of the Finca Legardeta vineyard, located near the village of Villatuerta, Pamplona, an area with an Atlantic climate.
The grapes were meticulously harvested at dusk in order to avoid prefermentation, and selected both at the vineyard and in the cellar.
After that, they were gently crushed and premacerated for 12 hours in stainless steel tanks with periodic pump-overs. After the completion of alcoholic fermentation, the wine Chivite Colección 125 Reserva 20121 of Bodegas Julián Chivite was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels from Allier.
Limited production. All bottles are numbered.
