The wine Chivite Finca Legardeta Garnacha is one of the single estate bottlings of Bodegas Julián Chivite. This Spanish red wine comes from a 245-hectare estate located near Villatuerta, south-west of Pamplona, in DO Navarra.
The vines are planted in poor soils with a mixture of sandstone, clay and limestone. The climate is Mediterranean-Continental.
The grapes were hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks with mild pump-overs to carry out a mild extraction. This red wine from Navarra was then transferred by gravity into French oak barrels.
After that, the red wine Chivite Finca Legardeta Garnacha 2023 was kept for 12 months in the barrels before bottling.
It is advisable to aerate this Crianza red wine shortly before drinking.
