Produced by bodega Edetària, the wine Edetària Seleccio El Mas Vi de Finca is the first Vi de Finca Qualificada -Catalonia's top quality seal- of DO Terra Alta.
This blended Spanish red wine is made from three local varieties: Hairy Grenache, sourced from over 40-year-old vines, with a 30% Grenache and a 10% Carignan. They are planted in soils made of cobble stones, clay and carbonate.
Hand-picked at their optimal ripening point, each variety was first separately macerated with the skins and fermented in stainless steel tanks. After that, this red wine from Terra Alta was blended and transferred into 500-litre French oak barrels.
The red wine Edetária Seleccio El Mas Vi de Finca Calificada 2021 was aged for 12 months in the barrels. Finally, it was bottled after a gentle filtration.
