A varietal Grenache from DO Terra Alta, the wine Via Terra Selection Negre is made from 25-year-old vines grown in rocky soils.
Harvested at dawn to avoid pre-fermentation, the grapes were selected on site and brought to the cellar. Then this Spanish red wine was cold macerated and then fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the red wine Via Terra Selection Negre 2023 was transferred into French and American oak barrels, where it was aged for 6 months.
Finally, this red wine from Terra Alta of the Edetària winery was clarified at a low temperature before bottling.
This is a no-nonsense young organic red wine which really delivers quality for money.
