Made from an equal blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the wine Enate Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot is an all-time consumer favourite from DO Somontano.
All of the grapes come from estate vineyards planted at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level. Harvested by hand, both varieties were separately vinified in stainless steel tanks. The alcoholic fermentation of this Spanish red wine lasted 20 to 30 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
After that, this red wine from Somontano of the Enate winery was aged for 6 months in 225-litre French and American oak barrels.
Bottled in February 2025, the wine Enate Cabernet-Sauvignon Merlot 2023 was cellared for a further 12 months prior to its release.
