Coming from DO Montsant, the 2023 vintage of Furvus is basically a varietal Hairy Grenache wine with a dollop of Merlot (5%).
Produced by Celler Vinyes Domènech, the grapes are sourced from a 15-hectare estate of certified organic and biodynamically farmed vines with clay and limestone soils.
After a meticulous selection of the grapes, this Spanish red wine was fermented for a period of 12 days under controlled temperature.
After that, the wine Furvus 2023 was aged for 12 months in 500-litre French oak barrels and big oak vats.
We suggest that you decant this Crianza red wine 1 hour before drinking.
