Bodega Herència Altés, a household name from the DO Terra Alta, makes the white wine Herencia Altés La Musaranya following a low intervention approach.
This Spanish white wine is sourced from estate vineyards certified organic, located near the village of Batea, in the province of Tarragona, south Catalonia.
The hand-picked grapes were refrigerated before going through a direct pressing, from which only the 30% of the free-run must was used. This white wine from Terra Alta was fermented with native yeasts in concrrete diposits.
The white wine Herencia Altés La Musaranya 2024 was subsequently aged for 5 months in the tanks, with periodic lees-stirrings.
Finally, this organic white wine was bottled after a gentle filtration.
