Formerly known as Juan Gil 18 Meses, the wine Juan Gil Etiqueta Azul (Blue Label) is produced in DO Jumilla.
Made principally from old-vines Monastrell, sourced from vineyards grown at altitudes between 700 and 800 metres, this Spanish red wine is complemented with Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
This blended red wine from Jumilla is produced from certified organic estate vineyards with different kinds of soils. Separately harvested and vinified depending on its plot of origin, the grapes completed alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Malolactic fermentation of this certified vegan wine took plance in new French and American oak barrels. Once completed, the wine Juan Gil Etiqueta Azul 2023 was aged for 18 months.
