This is the 2023 vintage of the wine Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata Magnum. An excellent Spanish red wine produced by the Juan Gil.
The red wine Juan Gil 12 Meses is sourced from Monastrell vines over 50 years old, located between 700 and 850 metres of altitude in the southeastern Spanish region of Jumilla. They are planted in soils composed of sand and limestone, and have very low levels of organic matter.
After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks for a period of 20 to 25 days. After that, the red wine Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata 2023 Magnum completed malolactic fermentation and a 12-month ageing period in French oak barrels.
We strongly suggest that you decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before you drink it.

| Nose | Intense and seductive, this varietal Monastrell begins with some spicy and creamy notes, slowly evolving into surprsingly fresh aromas of forest berries, cocoa, and tobacco. This wine has a nicely balsamic background, with hints of Mediterranean garrigue. |
| Palate | More approachable and fresh than previous vintages, this red wine of bodega Juan Gil has a silky body and a lively character. Creamy notions of spices and red fruit, alongside remembrances of smoke, blue flowers and dry earth. Smooth tannins, very good acidity and long, complex finish. |
