A branch of the Enate group, Bodega Laus is the producer of the wine Laus Tinto Crianza.
Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this Spanish red wine comes from vineyards situated in Barbastro, Huesca, DO Somontano, at approximately 400 metres of altitude. The area has a Mediterranean-Continental climate with scarce rainfall and plenty of sunlight. Soils are composed of rocks and limestone.
Once in the cellar, the grapes were meticulously sorted and separately fermented in stainless steel tanks. Once malolactic fermentation was completed, the red wine Laus Tinto Crianza 2021 was transferred into 225-litre hybrid (made from French and American oak) oak barrels and aged for a period of 8 months.
Pleasant and balanced, this vegan red wine from Somontano will be a nice accompaniment for meat recipes, hearty rice dishes or a nice cheese or cold meats platter.
