Details
Los Insensatos El Lechinar 2022
Produced by the recently founded Los Insensatos de la Antehojuela winery, the wine Los Insensatos El Lechinar is a varietal Pedro Ximénez wine coming from DO Montilla-Moriles.
This exciting Spanish white wine is sourced exclusively from Pago Benavente Alto, a south-oriented vineyard with clay-loam soils situated in Sierra de Montilla, at 420 metres of altitude.
The hand-harvested grapes were destemmed, crushed and gently pressed in a pneumatic press before being drawn off at a low temperature. After that, this white wine from Montilla-Moriles was fermented under controlled temperature in concrete tinajas (vessels).
Then the white wine Los Insensatos El Lechinar 2022 was aged on lees under the veil of flor for a period of 7 months in the same vessels.
This white wine from Andalusia is versatile and unconventional.
