The wine Marqués de Cáceres Crianza is one of the top values of the DOCa Rioja.
The main variety of this Spanish red wine is Tempranillo, complemented with 10% of other varieties. The grapes are sourced from small plots with clay-limestone soils located in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.
The handpicked grapes were fully destemmed before fermenting under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The maceration of this red wine from La Rioja lasted about 20 days, after which this vegan wine underwent malolactic fermentation in tanks and new oak barrels.
The red wine Marqués de Cáceres Crianza 2022 was aged for 12 months in 60% French oak and 40% American oak barrels, 25% new. This Crianza red wine by bodega Marqués de Cáceres was racked every 6 months.
Finally, the red wine Marqués de Cáceres Crianza Vendimia Seleccionada was cellared for no less than 12 months before hitting the market.

Appearance
The red wine Marqués de Cáceres Crianza is deep ruby with some purplish reflections.
Nose
Gentle wooden and balsamic notes around a solid core of cherry, plum and blackberry, with a dash of licorice and coffee. This Tempranillo with other varieties is quite expressive.
Palate
This red wine by bodega Marqués de Cáceres is smooth and ripe, with good acidity, medium tannins and a long finish of vanilla, coco and milk chocolate.
