A company focused on the production of terroir-oriented wines, Mas Candí is one of the most interesting wineries currently operating in DO Penedès.
A varietal Xarel·lo, the wine Mas Candí Desig is made from vines planted in 1961, grown following biodynamic principles.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were cold-soaked and fermented in stainless steel tanks. After that, this Spanish white wine was aged for 7 months on its lees with periodic stirrings.
To preserve the deep mineral character of this white wine from Penedès, the wine not aged in oak or any kind of wood.
Moreover, the wine Mas Candí Desig 2024 was not filtered or clarified before bottling. Thus, it may contain some natural sediment.
