A varietal Malbec - a cultivar seldom found in Spain - the wine Mil Historias Malbec is made from organically grown vines perched at 1,100 metres above sea level, in the town of Ladete (Cuenca), DO Manchuela.
Made by Bodega Altolandón, this Spanish red wine was vinified in stainless steel tanks, in which the grapes were first macerated for a long time to extract colour and tannin. Then they fermented with native yeasts under controlled temperature.
After that, the wine Mil Historias Malbec 2022 was transferred into French oak barrels, where it went through malolactic fermentation and was aged for 4 months. It was naturally stabilized before bottling.
It is advisable to open this organic red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
