Details
This champagne, Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, is the brother of the iconic Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial, in the rosé form.
This rosé sparkling wine by Moët & Chandon is crafted from a traditional French coupage for this region: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir grapes dominate this coupage and consisting of 45% of this champagne. Ten percent of this Pinot Noir is from red wine reserves which makes this rosé champagne more intense. The Pinot Meunier consist of 40% of this coupage with 10% of the Pinot Meunier also coming from red wine reserves to produce a more well-rounded champagne. The remaining 15% of the coupage is Chardonnay with 10% of the Chardonnay coming from a very elegant reserve white wine, which supports the elegance of this rosé champagne. Moët & Chandon Imperial Rosé received its bottle fermentation and ageing during a time period between 36 and 48 months.

Nose | This rosé champagne has fresh aromatics that present lactic and red fruit aromatics along with fragrant blackcurrant notes. There are pleasant bakery notes and all of these aromatics are presented along a background of herbal, nutty, and floral aromatics. |
Palate | Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial has a sweet entrance onto the palate with a fresh and refreshing passage that can be attributed to this champagne´s very well-integrated acidity. This is a big champagne that has a very good-structure. There is a medium-persistent aftertaste with fragrant bakery notes, fresh pastries, and loads of blackcurrants. |
