Made by the Quinta do Noval winery, the wine Noval 10 Years Old Tawny Port is a noteworthty 10 years old Port that combines youthful fruitiness with a modicum of complexity.
A blend of the local varieties Sousón, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, the grapes were vinified and fortified before being aged for 10 years in barrels, the minimum age requirement for a Tawny Port.
Amber-coloured, this Port of Quinta do Noval has a fresh, exuberant nose of pecan nuts, dark chocolate and spices. On the palate, the wine Noval 10 Years Old Tawny Port is juicy and intense, with a long and elegant finish reminiscent of dry fruit and a cedar and cinnamon note.
