The Cava Olivé Batllori Brut Nature Gran Reserva is the flagship Spanish sparkling wine of bodega Batllori, a traditional DO Cava producer based in Subirats, in the Alt Penedés area.
A blend of the traditional varieties Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada and the international ones Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this Gran Reserva Cava is sourced from vineyards certified organic that were harvested during the months of August and September.
After fermenting in stainless steel tanks, this Brut Nature Cava completed secondary fermentation in the bottle. Then the Cava Olivé Batllori Brut Nature Gran Reserva 2018 was aged for no less than 48 months.
Manually disgorged, this organic Gran Reserva Cava was added no dosage.
Pair this Brut Nature Cava from Penedès with meat casseroles and hearty recipes. If you feel adventurous, try it as an accompaniment for chocolate desserts.
