Red Wine Palacio Quemado Crianza 2019
Availability: In stock
Several years ago, Bodegas Alvear began producing wines in DO Ribera del Guadiana, a region in the southern Spanish province of Extremadura, through its branch Bodegas Palacio Quemado. Palacio Quemado Crianza comes from that region.
Produced almost entirely from Tempranillo grapes sorted from old vines grown in calcareous soils, this Spanish red wine is complemented with a 5% Petit Verdot.
First, this Crianza red wine was traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Palacio Quemado Crianza 2019 was aged for 9 months in new French and American oak barrels.
This red wine from Ribera del Guadiana is well-priced and versatile.
Appearance | This red wine Palacio Quemado Crianza is medium ruby with some garnet glints. |

Nose | This blend of Tempranillo and Petit Verdot suggests aromas of wild berries, some vegetal nuances, notes of spices, cocoa, roasted coffee and some smokey touches. |
Palate | Fresh and savoury, this wine of bodega Palacio Quemado has a well-balanced acidity, with crunchy tannins and a pleasant freshness. Balsam, ripe red fruit and spices combine harmoniously. This red wine from Extremadura has a long finish. |
Our personal opinion | Fresh, energetic and savoury, Palacio Quemado Crianza 2019 is an excellent value from a virtually unknown region. |
