Details
The 2022 vintage Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blancs is as exciting as the critically acclaimed 2021 one.
This characterful Spanish sparkling wine is mainly sourced from Vinya del Llac, an over 40-year-old vineyard situated near a lake that naturally regulates the temperature. Still awaiting to be recognized with its own Designation of Origin, the area is known as Conca de l'Anoia.
This sparkling wine is made from Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Parellada and a droplet (5%) of Malvasia de Sitges, sourced from finca La Plana.
Once in the cellar, the three varieties were separately fermented according to variety and origin. Then the blend was made and this brut sparkling wine was bottled and then went through secondary fermentation.
Finally, the sparkling wine Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blancs 2022 was aged for a minimum of 18 months in the bottle.
As with all of Raventós i Blanc wines, the disgorging date of this organic sparkling wine is printed on the back label.
