Sameirás Blanco 2023
The wine Sameirás Blanco is made by the Adega Sameriás winery, the project of winemaker Antonio Cajide in Ribadavia, in the Galician province of Ourense, DO Ribeiro.
This blended Spanish white wine is sourced from a single vineyard with granite and schist soils surrounded by forests and planted with 25 to 80-year-old vines, in an area with a humid climate and mild temperatures. The blend consists solely of local varieties; mainly Treixadura, Albariño and Godello, complemented with the lesser-known Lado, Loureira, Torrontés and Caíño Blanco.
The grapes were hand-picked and meticulously sorted. The white wine Sameirás Blanco 2023 went through a cold-maceration before fermenting in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
Once bottled, this white wine from Ribeiro was stored for some time in the cellar before being released onto the market.
