The wine Señora Carmen is produced by bodega Vins del Tros, a boutique winery from DO Terra Alta.
The winner of several awards in Spain and abroad, this Crianza red wine is the one that best represents the house style.
This varietal Grenache wine is sourced from a single vineyard with panal (fossilized dunes) soils, finca La Valleta, planted 50 years ago near the village of Vilalba dels Arcs. The organically certified vines are farmed following the principles of biodynamic viticulture.
After going through a spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, this Spanish red wine was transferred in French oak barrels, where it was aged for 12 months before being bottled. Finally, the red wine Señora Carmen 2021 was stored 12+ months before hitting the market.
This is a small-batch red wine from Terra Alta. Only 2,000 bottles produced.
We suggest aerating this vegan wine before drinking.
