Details
The wine Suañé Blanco Reserva is produced by bodega Alonso & Pedrajo Viticultores, an up-and- coming project of two families united by a common passion for the amazing Rioja terroir.
A blend of Viura (75%) and Sauvignon Blanc (25%), this Spanish white wine from DOCa Rioja is sourced from vineyards located in Villalba de Rioja and Haro, at around 580 metres of altitude, in a transitional area between Atlantic and Continental climate.
After being meticulously sorted and partially destemmed, the grapes were spontaneously fermented and macerated with the skins for 10 days before pressing.
Then this Reserva white wine went into new and used 228-litre French oak barrels, in which it was aged for a period of 12 months, with weekly lees-stirrings.
After that, the white wine Suañé Blanco Reserva 2020 was transferred into concrete diposits, where it was spontaneously clarified for 3 months.
Bottled after a mild filtration, this white wine from La Rioja was finally stored for no less than 15 months before hitting the shelves.
