This French champagne, Taittinger Brut Rosé from Reims, has been crafted from a coupage of grapes from different crus in Champagne, France, from different vintages of wine reserves. Each of the different crus and vintages used provide a unique attribute in the final product. This champagne, Taittinger rosado, has been crafted from a coupage of 30% Chardonnay and 70% Pinot Noir. This is a slightly higher percentage of Chardonnay than is traditional for this type of champagne.
