Details
This French champagne, Taittinger Brut Rosé from Reims, has been crafted from a coupage of grapes from different crus in Champagne, France, from different vintages of wine reserves. Each of the different crus and vintages used provide a unique attribute in the final product.
This champagne, Taittinger rosado, has been crafted from a coupage of 30% Chardonnay and 70% Pinot Noir. This is a slightly higher percentage of Chardonnay than is traditional for this type of champagne. The most distinctive characteristic of Taittinger Brut Prestige Rosé, is that just before this champagne is bottled there is a portion of this winery´s own red wine added to the coupage to give it its rosé color and characteristics.
