Terroir sense Fronteres Brisat 2023
An impressive entry-level white, the wine Terroir Sense Fronteres Brisat is made by the Terroir Sense Fronteres winery, the project in the DO Montsant of the iconic bodega Terroir al Límit from DOQ Priorat.
This varietal Spanish white wine is sourced from 15 to 35-year-old White Grenache vines planted in clayey and sandy soils, from 300 to 350 metres of altitude. The Catalan word Brisat, incidentally, means that this is a skin- contact white wine – typically known nowadays as orange wine.
The grapes went through a whole-cluster vinification for 4 to 6 days in stainless steel tanks, after which this Montsant white wine was kept in contact with the lees in the tanks for 6 months. It saw no oak or wood at any stage of the process.
Bottled in April 2024, the wine Terroir Sense Fronteres Brisat 2023 was stored for no less than 18 months before hitting the market.
