Produced by the prestigious Torres winery in DO Penedès, the wine Torres Waltraud is an homage to Ms. Waltraud Maczassek, an accomplished German artist and the wife of Miguel A. Torres.
In keeping with the German origins of Ms. Maczassek, this Spanish white wine is produced solely from Riesling, which has adapted rather well to its adoptive land. The vines are planted at 550 metres of altitude, in the Fransola estate.
This varietal white wine from Penedès was traditionally vinified. After macerating and fermenting in stainless steel tanks, the white wine Torres Waltraud 2025 was gently filtered before bottling.
This is a subtle and expressive organic white wine. Pair with shrimp and fish recipes.
