A family winery from Tarragona committed to producing organic estate wines.

The Celler 9+ was founded in 2010 by Mr. Moisès Virgili i Rovira, who had previously cut his teeth working at several wineries in different regions of the northern and southern hemisphere. The winery is located in the village of La Nou de Gaià, in the Tarragona province, DO Tarragona.

The Celler 9+ winery is dedicated to crafting minimal intervention, no sulfites added wines from indigenous varieties, sourced exclusively from estate vineyards.

The estate has an extension of 20 hectares, in which vineyards coexist with olive trees and carob trees. The red varieties are Sumoll, Grenache and Ull de Llebre (Tempranillo); the white varieties are MacabeoMoscatel, Cartoixà (Xarel·lo) and Cartoixà Vermell (Xarel·lo Vermell). As of late, two international varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, have been introduced.

Besides still wines, bodega Celler 9+ also produces some highly interesting ancestral sparkling wines. All of them are made from nothing but grapes.
