The wine Celler 9+ Selecció 4t is a stimulating natural red wine from DO Tarragona produced by bodega Celler 9+.
This varietal Spanish red wine is made from Sumoll, a characterful native Catalan variety that produces pleasantly tannic, high-acidic, light to medium-bodied wines with moderate ABV. The grapes are sourced from organically certified vineyards grown in sandy soils.
The grapes were fully destemmed and macerated for 7 days. The alcoholic fermentation of this organic red wine from Tarragona was carried out clay in 300-litre amphorae made by Carles Llarch, a renowned local potter.
After completing fermentation, the red wine Celler 9+ Selecció 4t 2024 was aged for 9 months in the amphorae.
The wine was finally bottled with no added sulfites or chemical preservatives whatsoever.
Aerate this organic red wine. Serve lightly chilled.
