The wine Aloers is an organic white wine made by the Celler Credo winery, the still wine project of the famed sparkling wine producer Caves Recaredo.
This varietal Xarel.lo is sourced from a single vineyard, called Montargull, planted 50 years ago in Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs, in the Alt Penedès area. Besides practicing organic farming, the winery follows the guidelines of biodynamic agriculture, and it was the first in Penedès to obtain a Demeter certification.
The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and macerated for one months with periodic stirrings. This Spanish white wine was subsequently kept for 6 months in contact with its fine lees.
The white wine Aloers 2021 was bottled in June 2022.
