Product Description

Enjoying a Spanish white wine aged in oak is not an unusual thing. However, drinking a wine aged in three different types of wooden barrels is something rather less common.

Produced by Parató Vinícola, Àtica Blanc 3x3 is a white wine from Penedès made from Xarel·lo, 30% Macabeo and 20% Chardonnay, all coming from certified organic vineyards.

First the grapes were cold-soaked and then naturally drawn-off. After that, Àtica Blanc 3x3 2020 began fermentation in stainless steel tanks and finished the process in Acacia barrels, American oak barrels and French oak barrels.

Finally, this white wine from Penedès completed half of the malolactic fermentation and was aged for 5 months on lees in the barrels with frequent stirrings.

The organic white wine Ática Blanc 3x3 is medium yellow with some greenish tinges.


Mildly exuberant, this blend of Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Chardonnay shows some spicy nuances, such as vanilla and cinnamon, combined with remembrances of baked apples, melon, undergrowth and fennel.


Palate-coating and savoury, this white wine of Parató Vinícola is fresh and lively, with a crisp acidity. Juicy notes of spices, white fruit and white flowers and remembrances of citrus and aromatic herbs. This vegan white wine aged in oak has a medium finish with remembrances of mineral and some smokey traces.

Our personal opinion

A high-quality value, Àtica Blanc 3x3 2020 successfully balances Mediterranean character and wood ageing.

Good white wine. Creamy, but not too much, and with the punch provided by xarel.lo.
