Coming from DO Montsant, Boig per Tu is an interesting Spanish red wine produced by Celler Vinyes Domènech.
It is made from a blend Grenache, coming from 20-year-old vines, Hairy Grenache from very old vineyards, and Samsó (Carignan) coming from 50-year-old vines.
Traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, Boig per Tu 2020 was first fermented for 20 days.
After that, this Crianza red wine was aged for 10-12 months in old French oak barrels prior to being bottled.
Incidentally, the name of this red wine from Montsant - which translates as "Crazy for you" - comes from a, ahem, cheesy Catalan pop song which made a big hit in the 90s, and is still very popular in the country.

Change the label
Though I find the label awful beyond expression, the wine is actually very good. It has the balance of all of Vinas Domenec wines. Please, upgrade the packaging!! The wine deserves it.
