Details
This is the new vintage of Fragància de Marta, a delicate Spanish rosé wine produced in Penedès by the Ramon Canals winery.
It is a blend of 50% Xarel·lo and 47% Sauvignon Blanc, coming from vines grown in poor soils, complemented with a 3% Pinot Noir, which brings the wine its rosy colour.
The grapes were hand-harvested and separately vinified using only the free-run juice. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks. This organic rosé wine was not aged in oak to preserve its delicate character.
Finally, Fragància de Marta 2022 was blended, bottled and added a nice cherry blossom label.

Lovely wine, lovely bottle. A friend brought it to a dinner party and from then on it became one of my favourite rosés!!
