Cava Juvé y Camps La Siberia 2012
Gran Reserva Rosé Cava from Penedès. Varietal Pinot Noir aged for 80 months.
Availability: In stock
The remarkable Juvé y Camps La Siberia is the top-shelf Spanish sparkling wine of the prestigious Cava producer Juvé y Camps.
Interestingly, this Cava Gran Reserva Brut is not made from the traditional varieties. Instead, this is a varietal Pinot Noir sourced from an exceptional vineyard with clay-limestone soils situated in an area of Penedès with a very particular microclimate, much cooler than the neighbouring plots -hence the name of the wine.
The over 30-year-old vines were harvested by hand, meticulously selected and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, Juvé y Camps La Siberia 2012 completed secondary fermentation in the bottle and was aged for 80 months minimum before being disgorged and added no sugar.
Deep and amazingly complex, this Rosé Cava Brut Nature Gran Reserva is a celebration wine if there ever was one.
Only 3,000 bottles produced.
Appearance | The rosé Cava Juvé y Camps La Siberia is pale pink with some salmon reflections. |

Nose | This varietal Pinot Noir cava has lovely purity and amazing precision. The purest wild berries, intertwined with some buttery and leesy notes, hints of pomegranate and citrus and some of dry fruit, red flowers and mineral undertones. |
Palate | An iron fist in a silk glove, this cava of Juvé y Camps is incredibly refined, supple and almost decadent in its richness, with a steely acidity effortlessly carrying the weight and some minuscule bubbles. Remembrances of pastry, red berries and dried apricots, leading up to a memorably long, exquisitely mineral finish. |
Our personal opinion | Truly world-class, Juvé y Camps La Siberia 2012 is a marvelous sparkling wine. |
