L'Abrunet de Frisach Rosat 2025

This peculiar Spanish rosé wine comes from DO Terra Alta, in southwest Catalonia.
Produced through minimal intervention methods, the wine L'Abrunet de Frisach Rosat is a blend of Grenache, White Grenache and Grey Grenache sourced from the organically certified Finca Trufes vineyard, located in Corbera d'Ebre.
The last variety, Grey Grenache, was almost extinct in the region, but thanks to the efforts and hard work of wineries such as Celler Frisach, it has been fortunately recovered.
After the harvest, all of the grapes were put together and the ensemble was macerated with the skins for 24 hours. Then they were gently crushed, and finally the wine L'Abrunet de Frisach Rosat 2025 fermented in stainless steel tanks using only the "free-run" juice. It went straight into the bottle after completing the process.
This is a cheerful rosé wine from Terra Alta.
