The little-known wine Sang de Corb comes from the increasingly interesting southern Catalan region of Terra Alta, a place with blisteringly hot summers and bitterly cold winters.
This blended Spanish red wine is made from Grenache, Hairy Grenache and Carignan sourced from a single vineyard, Dellà del Riu, planted with vines over 65 years old. Certified organic, the vines are located in a pristine environment, surrounded by almond, apple and olive trees.
Produced by the terroir-focused Celler Frisach winery, this red wine from Terra Alta was traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, the red wine Sang de Corb 2022 was aged for 12 months in 300-litre used French oak barrels.
Decant this Crianza red wine a minimum of 1 hour before drinking.
