Produced by bodega Maius Viticultors, a family project based in DOQ Priorat, the red wine Maius Assemblatge is Grenache (60%), complemented with 30% Samsó (aka Carignan) and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
This Spanish red wine ise sourced from certified organic vineyards planted in rocky and slate soils in Barranc de la Bruixa, near the village of La Morera del Montsant.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were macerated with the skins in stainless steel tanks. Then this red wine from Priorat was fermented under controlled temperature.
After that, 30% of the red wine Maius Assemblatge 2023 was aged for 6 months in oak barrels, after which it was racked to the stainless tanks for assemblage before being bottled.
We suggest that you aerate this Crianza red wine some time before drinking.
