Cava Marta Passió Reserva Brut 2020

Produced by Cavas Ramon Canals, Marta Passió Reserva Brut is made from a traditional blend of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel·lo. Besides, this organic and vegan rosé Cava is nuanced with a dollop of Grenache, in order to bring a subtle rosy tinge.
The vineyards are located at an altitude of 300 metres above sea level. Soils have very low levels of organic matter. Climate is strictly Mediterranean.
The grapes were harvested by hand, the Parellada being the last one in October. They were separately vinified in stainless steel tanks using only the "free-run" juice.
After completing alcoholic fermentation, this Spanish sparkling wine was blended and bottled to complete secondary fermentation.
Finally, Marta Passió Reserva Brut 2020 was aged for a minimum of 24 months in the cellar before its commercial release.
As regards food pairings, this a very versatile rosé sparkling wine.
The cava Marta Passió Reserva Brut is pale pink with some onion skin coloured tinges.
Very fresh, this blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Grenache suggests aromas of berries and aromatic herbs, with delicate notions of white fruit, citrus, pastry and toast.
Savoury and elegant, this rosé cava of Ramon Canals has some creamy, melting bubbles, a great acidity and long finish with remembrances of red fruit, citrus and pastry.
