Parajes de Callejo 2022
Produced by Bodegas Félix Callejo, the wine Parajes de Callejo is made from 85% Tinto Fino (aka Tempranillo) and a small percentage of Grenache and Albillo - an indigenous white variety from DO Ribera del Duero.
The organically farmed vineyards are at around 900 metres of altitude, in an area with a harsh Continental climate. The soils are composed of sand and limestone.
Picked by hand and meticulously selected, the grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts. After that, this Spanish red wine was aged for 18 months in 500-litre French oak barrels, oak vats and concrete diposits.
Finally, the wine Parajes de Callejo 2022 was bottled and aged for some months before its commercial release.
We suggest that you decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
