Produced from vines 15 to 50 years old situated in DO Toro, the wine Prima is the entry-level Spanish red wine of Bodegas San Román.
It is made principally from Tinta de Toro, complemented with a 15% Grenache. The grapes were separately vinified in different kinds of containers, according to the specificic characteristics of each plot.
Then this organic red wine from Toro was aged in French and American oak vats and barrels for 14 months.
After that, the red wine Prima 2022 was bottled and aged a further months before hitting the market.

| Nose | This expressive blend of Tinta de Toro and Grenache carries aromas of blackberries, plums and cranberries, with notes of flowers, wet undergrowth, dry earth, toast and spices. |
| Palate | Smooth and fresh, this red wine from San Román winery has plenty of local character, and at the same time a great drinkability. Spices, blue flowers, aromatic herbs and wild berries. Polished tannins, very good acidity and long finish with some toasted and spicy remembrances. |
