Made solely from Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are sourced from vineyards 30 years old on average, composed of slate and clay-limestone soils located near the Muntanyes de Prades Protected Natural Area.
The grapes were hand-picked, selected and destemmed, after which this organic red wine was macerated and fermented in French oak vats.
After that, the red wine Rendé Masdéu Peu del Bosc 2020 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Before its commercial release, this Crianza red wine was kept for some months in the cellar.
Decant this red wine from Conca de Barberà 30 minutes before drinking.
Pair with hearty meat recipes.
The red wine Rendé Masdéu Peu del Bosc is medium purple with some garnet reflections.
Quite pure, with a gentle mineral background, a spicy and balsamic layer and aromas of sour red berries, candied orange peel and a green bell pepper remembrance typical of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety.
This red wine of Rendé Masdéu is flavourful and full-bodied, with a lively balsamic acidity, sinewy tannins and lush ripe fruit. Long finish with remembrances of cedar, cinnamon and some mineral and earthy undertones.
