The wine Casa Castillo Monastrell is the entry-level product of Bodega Casa Castillo, a household name from DO Jumilla.
Made essentially from Monastrell with roughly 10% Grenache from certified organic vineyards, this Spanish red wine is sourced from estate vineyards up to 35 years of age.
After completing alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, this organic red wine from Jumilla was transferred into French oak barrels and vats, in which it went through malolactic fermentation.
After that, the red wine Casa Castillo Monastrell 2023 was aged for 9 months in the said containers.
