A varietal Trepat sourced from certified organic vineyards, the sparkling wine Celler Kripta Trepat Brut Reserva (formerly known as Agustí Torelló Mata Rosat Trepat) is produced by bodega Agustí Torelló Mata (Celler Kripta).
Indigenous to southern Catalonia and increasingly used in Cava production, the Trepat variety produces fresh, characterful and moderately alcoholic wines.
Traditionally vinified, the grapes were first macerated for 8 hours. After the completion of alcoholic fermentation, the sparking wine Celler Kripta Trepat Brut Reserva 2022 was bottled. Then it completed secondary fermentation and was aged for a minimum of 24 months in the cellar.
