The red wine Clos Lojen of Bodegas Ponce is a very serious contender for the title of “Spain’s absolute best value.”
Made from the indigenous variety Bobal, this Spanish red wine is sourced from 40 to 60-year old vineyards with clay-limestone, cobbled and alluvial soils located in DO Manchuela, central Spain.
The grapes were whole-cluster fermented in oak vats. After that, this red wine from DO Manchuela was aged in oak vats of different sizes for 6 months.
The red wine Clos Lojen 2024 was bottled from April to June 2025.
