The wine Depaula Monastrell is the only Spanish red wine made from Monastrell by Bodegas Ponce, a quality-oriented family winery in DO Manchuela, central Spain.
The grapes were sourced from organically certified vineyards with limestone soils. They went through a whole-cluster fermentation with native yeasts in 15,000-litre French oak vats.
After that, this organic red wine from Manchuela was aged for 7 months in the vats.
Once bottled, the red wine Depaula Monastrell 2024 was stored for around 12 months before hitting the market.
