The Cava Freixenet Reserva Real is made by the Freixenet winery from Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel·lo, the traditional Cava varieties.
The grapes were pressed with a pneumatic press and only the musts from the first press were used to craft this Spanish sparkling wine. The alcoholic fermentation was carried out under controlled temperatures, and this vegan Cava was subsequently aged for no less than 10 months.
Finally, the Cava Freixenet Reserva Real 2022 was disgorged and added dosage liquor aged in chestnut barrels.
Presented in a special bottle, the Cava Freixenet Reserva Real Brut honours the Champagne style. The bottles feature a screen print of the caves where the bottles were aged.
