Whisky Macallan 18 Sherry Oak

The whisky Macallan 18 Sherry Oak of the legendary Macallan distillery is one of the bottlings of the Sherry Oak Collection, which showcases the outstanding qualities of Highland Single Malt Whisky.

After the malted barley was fermented and meticulously distilled in the – as the Macallan team puts it - ‘curiously small’ Macallan copper stills, this Scotch Whisky matured for 18 years in Sherry seasoned oak casks selected one by one by Macallan’s Master of Wood.

This 18 year old Whisky is mahoganny-coloured with some amberish glints. Deep and complex, the nose of the whisky Macallan 18 Sherry Oak suggests peach syrup, fudge, scones, English custard and dried apricots, with a dash of spicy ginger. This Single Malt Whisky is smooth and pleasantly toasted on the palate, with undertones of aged Sherry, cinnamon and raisins, ending with a note of tobacco and dark chocolate.
