Whisky Macallan Classic Cut

The whisky Macallan Classic Cut is an exquisite Single Malt Whisky produced by the Macallan distillery in the Speyside region.

Meticulously fermented and distilled in copper stills, this No-age-statement whisky matured in ex Bourbon American oak and Sherry-seasoned oak casks and was bottled at 50.3% ABV. Though it can definitely be enjoyed at that strength, adding one part of water to two parts of whisky will dilute it to 40% ABV, thereby enhancing the sensory profile of this Speyside whisky and opening a new world of aroma and flavour to the inquisitive whisky aficionado.

Medium gold with some copperish reflections, this NAS Whisky, after being diluted with ‘one cut’ of water, shows remarkably original notes of ripe white pear, marzipan and almond biscuit, with a dash of spices and vanilla. The palate of the whisky Macallan Classic Cut is fenomenally smooth and refined, with white fruit, candied ginger and lanolin, ending with an exquisite note of fine oak.
